"This is not war, this is pest control!" - Dalek to Cyberman

I want a multi-touch tablet to run windows7.

This is a want, not a need, I want to play, so with that in mind what's a good one?   I don't plan on doing devwork or anything, so I'm not after a beast of a machine, more something thin and light weight with good battery life if possible!

So any suggestions?

Cheers,

Stephen.

Get the Dell Latitude tablet.

I'd suggest Lenovo, but I am not sure if they are multitouch. I would stick to those two bands.

When you say "tablet" I keep thinking of Wacom graphic tablets, not full-on tablet PCs. You should clarify in future Smiley

"Tablet PC" I guess is the best way to say it. I thought the Dell and Lenovo's are convertibles. Is that desired, or is a pure slate wanted? I have the Motion Computing LE1600 slate, not touch screen but the LE1600T was...and the LE1700 is out now, not sure if it does touch, or multi-touch.

I've been waiting for good reviews of Arcos 9 to come out, it seems ideal for what I want.

That's more of a UMPC, isn't it?

I suppose. I got mixed up between all these new form factors. Still want one, want something bigger than my iphone but not as big as my laptop. And the ne Win7 touch keyboard seems fantastic.
