Is there any way to find all audio files in a certain folder (and subfolders) that have DRM? I don't think Windows Search can do this.
Anyone have any ideas?
There's a "Protected" column in Explorer which I think indicates whether Windows Media files (and maybe others?) have DRM on them so I'd expect you can search on that. (At least, that's how it works in Opus. Never tried it in anything else.)
Well how about that, it works. Searching for "protected:yes" gets the job done. I had never noticed that column so I didn't think to try that as a search term. Thanks!
are you going to delete them now?
Yes, because a mess up meant I had some duplicates, so I'm going to delete those.
Damn, for a moment there I thought you were making a principled stand against DRM.
