cmon - "when youre ready to comprimize - call me"   that was good Smiley

Of all the I'm a Mac, I'm a PC adverts, that one is easily the worst. At least most of the others, while blatantly inaccurate, were a least a bit funny. That one however just smacks of desperation. And it kind of missed the whole point of the laptop hunter campaign that it was supposedly a response to, since that was never about high end laptops, it was about cheap laptops.

And it does it with what those lawyers and politicians do, avoid the truth. The ad never ask the same question to Mac, so Mac never has answer it, and he did feel lucky when she didn't ask him.

I thought it was very funny, but having watched it I felt more inclined to buy the PC. He was funny, confident and made some effort to sell himself.

Yes, it was funny – just not sure if it would have the desired effect.

Very odd advert, that.

I'd post a reply, but I'm sure my comment would just be eaten by the thousands of viruses on my system so why bother.

Nice but irrelevant advertisement, as they generally are.

I thought it was weird that was no real dialog from the Mac.

The laptop hunter ads have been airing for what? 4? 6 months now? And in all this time this is the best Apple could respond with?

I can only hope we push a little harder… though my dream ad involves Chevy Chase as the next laptop hunter with the end line (while standing outside of a Mac store) being "I'm Chevy Chase, and a PC... and you’re not."

Well, arguably, those laptop hunter ads are extremely lame, and Apple doesn't really need to respond...they just continue to tweak Microsoft's nose and rile up any number of Microsofties.

"Some say i'm too fast"

Riiiight, that makes a lot of sense.

"1000's of viruses"

Gimme a break. that's the best they could do?

Lame.

I've always liked this one:

Yes, I thought that!

I've never come across any laptop and thought, "I'm not buying that; it's way too fast!"

Those ads are sooo overused... they aren't even funny.
