The pioneers would be appalled!

Congrats Larry!

I want a big shiny for my years of service but the best thing I got was a plastic pen. Sad

I guess I know where I need to go work.  Big Smile

30 pounds? Dang, you're going to have to have the maintenance people build a specially reinforced shelf. Maybe just get a pedestal of some kind.

So what's the next milestone award, an 8 foot obelisk?

I'd guess nobody's ever gotten it. We're getting pretty close to the beginning of the company here.

I kind of thought that, but I was wondering if they've got this stuff already planned out? Or is it "Oh crap, Larry's 25th is next week!"?

Larry's like the guy who beta tests the v.1.0 awards before all the more recent employees people get them.

Larry spoils the award surprise for all the other employees at Microsoft.

25 at Microsoft!? That's great! Congrats! Big Smile

So, what kind of bugs can you have in that kind of award? Maybe it's radioactive. Or it's going to set fire to something when the sun hits it.

The thing weighs like 30 pounds.  I'm figuring it's going to break someones foot when they drop it.

Here's where they order them from.

So, that's probably where my VS2008 cube came from?

Some of their stuff is really cool.

Their order page only goes up to 20 years... ?

Edit: 20 years is a $800 order... Yours is likely in the four digit range... Wow, no wonder it's delivered in a foot locker Smiley

thats what i was thinking... no management promotion?   GOOD!

cheers larry Smiley
