I don't mind fiddling with tags but I still don't see how it fixes the problem with classical music on the Zune (or most other PMPs) since even if the tags are 'correct' not much will use them in the way that classical listeners want.

 

FWIW I rarely have to fiddle with tags when ripping from CD. I've got dbPoweramp set to tag things the way I want. Just put the CD in and click "rip." Only thing I have to do is edit the track numbers on multi-disc albums (so they keep increasing) as it won't automate that. I guess when ripping disc 2 it doesn't know how many tracks were on disc 1 so it can't be told to add them to the counts.

 

When buying music for download I do fiddle with the tags, but I still buy most of my music on CD.
