It's a very small but obvious change. The cynic in me says,

  • Why has it taken so long to realise that the text was small?
  • Is this a direct response to Bing, which had a bigger and clearer font till now?
  • Do you feel as if your are being treated like you are visually impaired?

Yes, font sizes larger than 12px @96DPI are friggin' huge and annoying. I wan't more content on my larger screen, not a larger picture.

Wow, I was changing my zoom level in Firefox and everything. I was confused. But I like it. Easier on the eyes all day Wink
