Performance seems snappy enough here, but it already was. Those themes all look horrible, except maybe Grayscale, which just looks boring.

Google Chrome 3 has nice Windows 7 taskbar integration, listing a couple useful actions and a handful of recently visited sites in the jump list, similar to Internet Explorer 8.

My psychic powers tell me it has something to do with the fact that it isn't available for Linux (yet).

I would also venture to say that it probably represents a threat more to other browsers than to IE... and that is obviously a bad thing for those that hate Microsoft more than they love technology.

In my honest opinion it's the best web browser that i've ever tested. The only one who has HTML5 support.. Smiley

Its useless because there are two dominant browsers, Firefox and IE. If Google had been smart instead of trying to recreate the wheel and just endorsed Firefox like it used to their energies could have been focused on more important projects, ie Gogle Apps to really drive MS to obscurity. Unfortunately, they didnt do that and now they have a substandard browser and Google Apps still suck.

Competition is a good thing ... but browsers are actually pretty dull because I'm not seeing any REAL levels of innovation.

Small increments are all nice but hardly likely to make me want to switch browsers.

So, if we take your logic to it's natural conclusion:

Linux is useless because there are two dominant operating systems, Windows and Mac OS. If Ubuntu had been smart instead of trying to recreate the wheel and just endorsed Windows, they could have used their energies to focus on more important projects.
