IE8 (and Chrome) is already more secure than Firefox, though.  Significantly more, actually.

Woah! I can't decide which I'm more amazed that:

  • Not one but two web browsers finally added support for one of the animated PNG formats. Finally!
  • I've actually seen an animated PNG file. They exist! Though perhaps the APNG in the Wikipedia article about APNGs is the only APNG on the entire web or in the entire world. Smiley

Hope more browsers follow suit as it would be nice to be able to put simple animations on the web without the limitations of GIF.
