Besides Erik's Functional Programming series, any recommendations?

Here is ones I really liked:

Although this is not in the format you would expect, it is a lecture and is worth reading.  Please forgive the title, as it is misleading.

This thread rocks. Keep it up Big Smile

UC Berkeley is a good one. I liked the CS courses I watched a few years ago but seems the lecturers more recently aren't as good. Some of the non-CS lectures are why I *really* go back there. Some interesting bits and pieces.

As dumb as it sounds, I like to jump around and watch a handleful about a subject I know NOTHING about. I think I might watch "Nuclear Reactions and Radiation" as some point. I watched this one about tools development in manufacturing a while back that was just hugely interesting, who knew designing the perfect cutting blade was such accurate engineering.

http://www.academicearth.org/ has a wide variety of good on-line lectures.

One. How many time travellers does it take to change a lightbulb?

Definitely! These SICP lectures are enlightening; each one opens your mind in a new way.

Brian Harvey's more current series is wonderful too (same SICP curriculum + includes MapReduce, etc.)

MIT has their own video site TechTV which I'm always dipping in and out of when bored.

Just watched the Eric Evans presenetation on InfoQ, and there are a whole load more. Not really a 'series' but an interesting set.
