I want to throw a Windows 7 launch party but I see the party kits are all gone on Houseparty.  I don't really care about the "free" Windows 7 dvd in that kit, but I would like the decor and party favors.  Can I buy one of these kits on a Microsoft store site somewhere?  I see the kits are going on ebay for upwards of $200-300.  I just want some totes and posters and t-shirts.

I know Scoble posted once about a company that sends you a sh!1tload of schwag for only a small cost...wonder if they're still around.

I didn't get any t-shirts in my pack. Really it's nothing special. The balloons and streamers are just plain colors, no logos. The tote bags are neat but I wouldn't pay money for them. They're not the best quality material.

Windows 7 drinking game, eh? That's when...

  • Windows BSODs: take a drink
  • Windows gives you a UAC prompt: take a drink
  • When Windows Search doesn't find a file in a non-indexed location you know exists: take a drink
  • Internet Explorer takes its time opening a new tab: take a drink
  • Patch Tuesday comes around: take a drink
  • UI bugs and quirks in Classic Mode make you cry... take two drinks (it softens the pain)

C you

Actually, according to The Lone Server, a BSOD _is_ a drink. Smiley
