Anyone have Windows 7 on their slate? I have the Motion LE1600 slate and will be getting Win7 Home Prem the second it comes out for it. Don't think there have been any C9 videos on the subject yet.

I've got it on my Dell Latitude XT. It's pretty awesome, but having to live without the N-Trig multitouch stuff at the moment as the beta versions were a bit buggy. That, in itself, makes using it a little awkward as touch doesn't seem to get disabled on the login screen and the default touch behaviour is a little over-sensitive. I'm assuming it'll go away once finalised drivers are available.

*And yes, I know the XT isn't technically a slate, but my machine spends 98% of it's life in slate mode.

How is the handwriting/ink capabilities in Windows 7? I know with Vista the recognition over XP was quite substantial and noticable

I was massively impressed when I moved from Tablet XP to Vista. I'd say the improvements having moved to 7 are at least as impressive again. The way corrections happen in the new TIP are worth the money alone!
