So with my Windows 7 install comes Powershell2 out of the box. However, when I have looked into getting Powershell2 onto my XP machine at work, I find it's listed only as a CTP (http://blogs.msdn.com/powershell/pages/download-windows-powershell.aspx).
Does anyone have any clues?

I think it was released together with Windows 7 (http://blogs.msdn.com/powershell/archive/2009/10/17/powershell-v2-virtual-launch-party.aspx) and not yet for older versions.
It's been ported to Vista but not yet XP. As far as I know the XP port is still planned, though.
Bumping this because Powershell 2 has arrived for XP : http://blogs.msdn.com/powershell/archive/2009/10/27/windows-management-framework-is-here.aspx
Installed it on my XP machine at work and it works -- although I have started getting errors from the '.NET Optimization Service' appearing at various times which I still need to resolve (no apparent ill effects from these, just annoying at the moment).
