I'm looking forward to the new 9-guy - and maybe you can produce a silver line machined out of metal and call it the ruggedized, hardened niner Smiley

Plastic is fine and has the feel and symbology of Lego (cue Dovella: Go Denmark Smiley ) but stainless steel beats plastic hehe

Given the CAD schematics someone might actually do that

I have been bad about sending these out in a timely fashion.... In some sense, I'm really not the best guy for this particular task. I'll ask somebody else on the team to assume this responsibilty so that we can be more predictable in when we send these off to you.
