Sorry dude but your website is not good enough. Think about a decent design instead of just slapping an ugly Silverlight deepzoom map on a white website.

dont you think you are being a little harsh? I see what he is doing. he is mapping places with their old pictures of the location. very creative idea. Its a time capsal, not just a silverlight deepzoom map on a white website.

Good idea, bad implementation => conclusion: no vote.

I'm curious how you would do it. I think his implementation is fine.

Need a tutorial page and video for it. I couldn't figure out the purpose of this thing until later. I think normal users would just leave if they can't understand it in 10 seconds.

 

I agree that it's not obvious what the site is. I only knew because of your earlier thread about it. The default fader view definitely helps.

 

Maybe open with a tutorial-ish page that has some examples, and then click a button to load into the main map page.
