Anyone following this?

If you remember the viral marketing that was I Love Bees last year for Halo 2 - this is believed to be Microsoft's new answer for Xbox 2.

Already a bunch of screens have been found on it:

I think everyday a new challenge comes up for the team, if you're lucky you might get a snippet of info out of it.

Anyway I've got a team on the go with it, so if you fancy joining up login with the word 'play' on www.ourcolony.net and join an existing team with the password '30410682'.

I don't know, but I find hard to believe that microsoft
started this whole campaign 9 years ago.

On the other hand they could have just bought the domain name.

"Colony Networks" ?

Perhaps Microsoft bought it off them on a short-term loan or something.

I take back everything I said. Wink

Maybe I should have looked up the right domain name (ourcolony.net instead of colony.net)

Here is the right info:

EDIT: I just did some more research and ound this article stating:
Gamespot wrote:

During his 2005 Game Developers Conference keynote address, Microsoft corporate vice president and chief XNA architect J Allard showed off some of the features that will be part of the next iteration of Xbox Live. One of those features was the "Gamer Profile," an online profile that will feature basic information like a person's Xbox Live tag, stats, gaming achievements, and motto.

The Gamer Profile will also include a picture of the gamer. When Allard demonstrated the Gamer Profile in action, he showed his own profile. Next to his Gamer Tag--"Hiro Protagonist," named after the main character in Neal Stephenson's cyberpunk novel Snow Crash--was a photo of Allard sporting a green T-shirt. On the front of the T-shirt was a large white ant with a distinctive mark on its abdomen that resembled an "X."

As can be seen in a side-by-side comparison, that same ant is also the emblem of Ourcolony.net, a Web site that appears to reward players of an alternate-reality game with partial pictures of the next-generation Xbox.

I know, but what about the shirt comparison?

Maybe U Enzo is an employee at some kind of marketing firm?
