If you're wondering about the Red screen of death, that only happens with generally more serious errors.  Blue is still there, but they decided to differentiate between classes of errors by color.

The errors have always been there. The RSOD is today's black screen errors, when something goes wrong at startup, etc.

BSOD is still present as DoomBringer pointed out.
