Ok it was intentionally misleading, inappropriate, and not under my authority to do such things.

However,

With so much serial posting going on... anyone else think its a good idea?

It already exists.

I'm just waiting for Charles to add a Java/DotNetlet/ASP.NET IRC client to Channel9.

Mostly bots atm. One or two carbon-based lifeforms enter once or twice a day, usually by following /whois's though.

But the thing is right... IRC isn't a very "Microsofitsh" thing to go and do. Naturally, it would be a propriety and closed protocol using only allowed clients and called: "Microsoft Interpersonal Communications Server"

If highly original.

Its a shame that a lot of IRC networks have banned the ComicChat client (because of the metadata it adds at the beginning of each message)

Do I need to have Java installed for this to work? What do I need installed for this to work? If it is to much I won't join... As for the idea of a permenant IRC Channel9 Channel Smiley It sounds pretty good...

I'd stick around on it. But installing Java which ads use? I don't know....
