Try killing your firewall?

Do I need to have Java installed for this to work? What do I need installed for this to work? If it is to much I won't join... As for the idea of a permenant IRC Channel9 Channel It sounds pretty good...

I'd stick around on it. But installing Java which ads use? I don't know....
Loadsgood.

*shrug* Yeah it needs java.  I suppose you could pick one of the badillion clients out there.

Look if you want to be picky you should know enough to roll your own.  Otherwise click yes and prepare to have your HDD formatted.

Fine. I'll download that Java then set it on for use on that site. Then I'll click ok and format my HDD just to show you how cool I am. (Heh, that'll show him the likes of loadsgood!)

Up yours children!

It didn't work for me Sad I got this:
"Connecting...
Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection timed out: connect"
I knocked off my firewall and antivirus but still got the error, any help?

Beer recommended MIRC, that would probably be more reliable than this java thing.

mIRC is quite nice, but IRC is still a pain to work with.

I can feel my brain cells commiting hara-kiri.

HI all,

since the channel W3bbo provided was on a huge public server, I allowed myself to set up an (more or less private) IRC-server. Especially since it's included in my new webhosting package anyway... Wink

If you have an IRC-client:

irc://irc.quixotic-existence.com/Channel9

If you don't:
