Thats player is Silverlight 1.0 which is a waste of time. I have scarcely ever gone to a site where it has worked first time and and sound and visuals are synchronous. the Adobe Flash play for instance at the BBC site smashes Silverlight to smithereens. The quality is brill and it just works. Bring on Silverlight 2.0

and it threw an exception...


Makes me worry about C#, I don't think it's ready...

Do you know what the promise of Silverlight is? Write Once Run Anywhere. What good is Silverlight if I have to have different code for have a FireFox + XP, and a FireFox + Vista, and a IE + XP, etc...

But as vesuvius correctly pointed out, this is Silverligt 1.0, which is really only good for the Olympics.

PS.
I don't really want to fight blowhard. He seems the kind that would roll up & cry at the sight of a bloody nose. I've seen blowhard's picture, and I don't want to emasculate the guy any further. Haha.

I don't think he said it sucked, although I agree with him. This is a very simple bug that just kind of makes me laugh at who ever decided to roll it out like this. Silverlight was a huge deal, a huge release, stupid things like this should not of been left not taken care of by such a big company.

By the way, bug, the DIV which quotes the post I'm replying to  (In reply to {0})) never really executed the string.Format("{0}", value);. I suppose you guys are doing string.Format.
