Would is be possible to require a captcha for a users first 10 posts for instance?

Might be a useful spambuster, given that it's mostly bots on here I suspect.

I don't actually think it is bots... some of them email me when I ban them, asking "why? I just have wonderful useful information about DVD ripping tools to share... don't you want to know how to rip DVDs?"

Still a good idea though. I would have thought the switch to only Live ID for new users would have helped though.

The reason why they keep spamming is because it takes too long for the spam to be removed. If it gets removed very fast after posting they will give up.
