Impossible to go beyond page 1 in a specific thread.

In the WMP thread (http://channel9.msdn.com/forums/Coffeehouse/501704-Charles-Any-Word-On-Interviews-With-The-Media-Player-12-Team/?CommentID=503105#Page=1) there is no way for me to move beyond the first page. The next page/last page buttons do nothing, and clicking on the last post time in the thread list just brings me to the first page again. My profile is set up to always take me to the first unread post, but that doesn't work either. Editing the URL doesn't help either.

 

Doesn't happen in other multipage threads. IE8 on Windows 7 Pro.

 

 

Edit: Oh hey, it happens in the Spam Comment thread on this forum too. Also a three-pager.

I've had that happen to me too. It's only certain threads, and doesn't seem to be limited to a specific forum (coffeehouse vs tech off)

PS: In the meantime you can get around this bug by adding ?Page=[page number you want to view...] to the end of the thread URL and navigate your browser there manually (so, add the thread URL + ?Page=5 to your browser's URL input box, for example, and hit enter. This action would take you to page 5 in an multi-paged thread....)

On this thread: http://channel9.msdn.com/forums/Coffeehouse/464279-Linux/  which is 4 pages, wheneve I add the following:

 

?Page=2

 

It changes the page indicator to say "Page 2 of 4" but the contents displayed is still page 1.  In fact, all of the following:

 

?Page=2 = Displays "Page 2 of 4" in the page indicator; actual content displayed, however, is Page 1.

?Page=3 = Displays "Page 3 of 4" in the page indicator; actual content displayed, however, is Page 1.

?Page=4 = Displays "Page 4 of 4" in the page indicator; actual content displayed, however, is Page 1.
