Default Field value using a function in sql 2005

Is it possible to set a default value for a table field where the value is a return of a function?

GetDate() works.  Don't know about UDFs.  Try it and see?

Thanks so much it works!, i tried to make a search on google and could not find an answer on this, just someone whoe says "make a triger after insert", i didnt like that idea,  i have almost given up on this (Maybe i should'nt have searched on "google")  Wink
