Hi,

Does any one know if it is possible to have an SQL CE 2005 as a linked server of a SQL 2005 server?

I've tried using the Ole Db provider but no luck, it doesn't appears listed in the provider list, even after I manually register OleDb Dll bundled with it.

I would doubt it. The footprint is tiny (thankfully).

Footprint doesn't matters.  Besides you can have a Jet DB as linked server.  And it has a small foot print too.
