Actually I am helping people by telling them not to post that here. There are a number of sites that specialize in hardware/software troubleshooting. By posting it there you are going to get a better response.

Really its a win win all around.

To be honest they will be posting their problems in as many places as possible anything that could help..

Talking of which, I've had to reinstall our Win2008 server today because the active boot drive died and no matter what I tried I couldn't get the boot manager to install itself on the actual OS drive..

Luckily its just a testing OS for our dev stuff..

Reaaalllly. And where is this stated, oh high mogul? The only thing I see is "Want to keep the conversation technical? This is the place. Hard hat required." Nothing in there about any of the subjects you list being off limits.

I almost agree with you. I haven't been around here much but I think it isn't the fault of people but perhaps the "name" of the forum. Perhaps a "Development" forum would be more fit.

However, the paradox here is that your thread is not tech nor development related.
