I created a compressed folder on a network drive and wrote about 120 gigabytes to it.  Then Vista sent me a message:  "A file system limit has been reached."  That's nice.  What limit would that be?

explain:  " I created a compressed folder on a network drive"  do you mean an NTFS compressed folder or a zip folder ?

also what does the stack trace look like?  what Win32 error codes are returned?

lookup the win32 error ... it should tell more about the error.
