Since the
release of "The EEE" in October 2007 Netbooks are a major hit. The
word Netbook was introduced by Intel in February 2008. As soon as a new Netbook
is released they seem to be sold out within minutes.
Netbooks are a great way to stay connected at home, in the garden our while travelling.
They all have a build in webcam and mic so you can chat, Skype and participate
on Channel 9. There are Linux versions but also netbooks with Windows XP
installed.
An other good thing is that they are cheap and light easy to transport and
might become popular in new markets, like South America, Asia and Africa. The more people online the better.
There is a new forum for netbook users where you can discus and ask questions
about all netbooks (not only The Eee). It's supposed to be for people like you
and me
: NetbookUsers.com
What are your experiences with netbooks? Is the keyboard big enough? Is 7 inch
to small or is 10 inch to big? ? Will they reach people in new markets? Is The Eee still number 1?
