GACUTIL /NOLOGO - what's the nologo do?

I would like to create a script to gac/de-gac assemblies, all the GAC samples include the nologo switch, does anyone know what it does?

The /nologo or /nobanner args on most programs stops them from writing "gacutil (C) Copyright Microsoft 2005..." to stdout.

/nologo as a Windows boot option does something else though.
