I have developed custom IFilter on Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2.

For now, it extracts only text content. I have registered filter into registry. Filter is working in Search Companion and Google Desktop Search. Problem is that filter doesn't work in Windows Desktop Search 3. I have worked on solution of that problem several days but witout results. I'v made log file to see which processes call functions from my filter dll. WDS never enters even into Init function of IFilter dll. I have followed MDSN instruction for additional registry entries for Windows Desktop Search 3 but still without result. I have added support for IPersistentStream, too.

You can see in attached pictures results from IFilter Explorer 2.0 for my custom IFilter.

Can you tell me where i am making a mistake, and why WDS doesn't recognize my custom IFilter.

Just to mention that my filter is based on SmpFilt sample from PlatformSDK.
