WinSAT starts spontaneously

So I'm sitting here working on a project and watching a video when Aero goes into unglassy mode... huh?  So I look at my task manager and see WinSAT running... But I don't see it... It's in session zero... Killing it restores my glass... Why would this happen with no notice or events?

Is it possible Windows Update was installing new drivers? Some of them run WinSAT after installation to update your WEI.

There were no indications of a Windows Update in progress.
