Sync Services Question

I am looking for an answer from someone experienced with MS Sync Services.

 

I'd like to know if it can synchronize an occasionally connected client using specific records from a table. For example, sending to a specific client only the updated customers from the southeast region, where the sync server maintains a customer table holding customers from all regions? Or does Sync Services only handle full table syncrhonization, that is to say, sending all customer record changes to all clients?
