Hi!

I'm discovering Visual Studio .NET 2005 beta 2.
I tried to start a simple Hello World project in ASP.NET. But when i click "Debug" button, default browser (Firefox) appears (asking for user/pass). If i paste this url to IE everything is OK.

Is there any posibility to set which browser will VS.NET use while debuging ASP.NET sites? Of course besides changing the default browser in whole system to IE.

Regards,
RaiN.

Look for a file called "browser.xml" or "browsers.xml". Some guy told me that you can change there the browser (for ASP.NET in Whidbey). I have installed ... It's somewhere under "Documents And Settings\<User>\Local somewhat\AppData\VisualStudio\8.0"

To ged rid of the messagebox asking you the password and user you have to deactivate in Firefox under

Websites->Start Options->Start Options

the point saying "NTLM Authentication".

Cheers

where is it exactly? In Firefox preferences? In IIS configuration? How to get there?

It's in Firefox's about:config screen.
