Given my knowledge of italian is even worse than Dovella's English (I can order food, and say Ciao Bella whilst driving a lambretta whilst wearing loafers and carrying a man bag, I wouldn't dare go onto an italian forum

I wonder if blowdart would say that something sucks because somebody is selling a printer driver for it, on an Italian forum.

The only problem is that 90% of the buttons on LCARS (that's what the TNG OS is called) are labelled with numbers instead of text and you apparently have to learn by heart what they do. :P

I would vote for the Star Trek NG OS... voice driven, has always the right buttons when you need them and never crashes (well only if you self destruct the ship). Addtitional features: beams, enables video chats over millions of light years, know how to operate a warp engine, might be able to operate cloaking devices, fires incredible weapons, hooks into unknown systems with ease, translates languages on the fly (even unknown)... I wonder if it comes in a box.

Can't we all just agree that Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux all suck?

Really the best operating system is GNU Emacs. The only thing wrong with it is it includes a lousy text editor.

I know Italy has problems with crime, but really I thought the meaning of evidence was something other than "I saw someone use a mac once" and unrelated URLs about 3rd party printer drivers for specialist printing processes.

Vista is easy to network. Install OS... Open Explorer...browse Computers (in Network)...find share... ...Double click share ...log into share and open files.
