SQL Server 2008 R2 - Reporting Services

SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services offers a variety of improvements for developers, administrators and information workers alike. Report authors will benefit from expression language and layout improvements. Rich new data visualizations like data bars, sparklines and maps will make your reports convey information with more impact in less space. Reports can now be designed from shared report parts published to a report gallery, dramatically improving the productivity of the report design process. Access to exciting new data sources SharePoint lists and ATOM data feeds can enrich the data included in reports, and reports themselves can function as a data source for ad-hoc analysis in SQL Server 2008 R2 PowerPivot. Developers will benefit from new ReportViewer and Chart controls in Visual Studio 2010 as well as improved integration with SharePoint 2010.
