Troy Martez and
Dr. Sneath
go on a deep dive into the new client deployment options available in WPF 3.5 SP1. Interesting new features include the Client Profile (something like a "diet .NET Framework") which allows for smaller setup packages and new customizations during the installation process.
Looking for more than deployment?
Check out the WPF 3.5 SP1 Overview video

Is the "WPF Client Profile" packaged seperately from the bootstrapper, so that existing 3rd party installations could simply execute the profile package and pipe it's feedback (similar to how the full .NET redistributable is silently executable)?
The bootstrapper sounds like it will be very useful for new WPF apps where the developers don't yet have the deployment scenario handled, but for existing apps, a client profile redistributable/package/whatever that could take the place of the existing redistributable would be fantastic..

@jh71283 - Here's the list of included assemblies you are looking for
Client Profile List
@dragonshed - Yes, you can package the install to run silently with your own app install. You can find more info in
the App Model video
