We are pleased to announce that the Windows Azure AppFabric Caching service has been released to production! In this video, Karandeep Anand—Principal Group Program Manager for AppFabric—shares all the details related to the Caching service...including pricing!
The Caching service is a distributed, in-memory application cache that accelerates the performance of Windows Azure and SQL Azure applications by allowing you to keep data in-memory. In case you didn't have a chance to evaluate the Caching service while it was in CTP, we are running a promotional period in which we will not charge for the service through August 1, 2011.
Try the Caching service at http://windows.azure.com/. You can find more information on the Windows Azure AppFabric team blog. For questions on the Caching service please visit the Windows Azure Storage Forum.
