PDC may happen physically here in Redmond, but it's really a global event and all of the sessions PLUS the Channel 9 LIVE feed was streamed out over the net. In addition to the content being available immediately, we also translated it live to Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and French. While it look simple and seamless to the viewer, there is a lot of hard work going on behing the scenes to make this all possible. Here's how it's done!

Phenomenal that is all I have to say!
Agreed, Chris. PDC10 represents the beginning of something special. Beyond describing (in great detail) a new group of products and strategies for now and tommorrow, PDC10 proved that you can do global virtual events. What a great synergy between multiple organizations and, more importantly, people inside and outside of Microsoft.
Here's to Now and Tomorrow,

Hi,
Can PDC videos be made downloadable from Channel 9?
Thanks for sharing Laura, really impressive!
Was it hard for you Laura to be at a place where you had to talk silently?
No just kidding, thanks for sharing this impressive newsitems. Pretty awesome to see the live translators.
Amazing! I'd no idea what was involved.
great stuff. thanks to the entire production team.
I was very impressed with the music in between shows. Who were the artists or producers or label providing the music?
@Rhapsody: I was going to say the same thing. It was nice to have Laura's audio not clipping.
