Benjamin Herila (BenH) delivered this talk at the Windows Certification Workshop in Redmond on February 21, 2012. Windows Server 8 includes the ability to uninstall the Server Graphical Shell, leaving MMC, Server Manager and a subset of Control Panel installed. The talk discusses this Minimal Server Interface and possible impact to driver installation, administration, and certification.
