Ed Hintz, development lead on the Team Foundation Server team, gave us a demo of the newly released Team Foundation Server Power Tools v1.2 . Ed demonstrates a new tool for monitoring the status and uptime of Team Foundation Server as well as a new Process Template Editor for visually customizing work item forms, workflow, and more. In case you missed the first installment of the Team Foundation Server Power Tools be sure to also check out Erin Geaney’s interview.

Note: The Administration/Monitoring tool is a sneak peak at what's coming in a future release, but the rest of what Ed shows is available in the current release (v1.2).

Excellent!  Looking forward to trying these PowerTools out ... I am glad you changed the name, it should make it easier to get buy in, as mentioned.  Big Smile
This is just so cool. Glad MS is working towards this area of TFS. It has been a hard year to manage and administer TFS. Keep it coming!

Thanks,

Sorry guys but this is the worst video I've seen in a long time. For one you didn't give a clear path on how to start the tool and if anyone had done any editing on this video you'd have seen that this was terribly out of focus. Completely useless to those of us who are trying to get up and running with this tool when we don't even know how to locate it OR the documentation that is supposed to exist on install.
