There's a group of folks in the UK that have formed a commumity called Next Generation User Group. In their own words: "The Next Generation User Group focus on existing and future technologies from Microsoft, helping the enterprising developer stay ahead of the game." They are seriously passionate about software, especially .NET.

On a cold autumn night, I visited one of their meetings in Coventry, England. This was no ordinary user group gathering at the local pub or library. 30 developers gathered together in a grounded Argosy cargo plane located at the Midland Air Museum to talk about Vista, Office and, of course, .NET development.

In this first clip of three, we meet John Price, co-founder of NxtGenUG. We discuss what the heck we're doing in an airplane museum on a cold night in Coventry...

NxtGenUG is totally cool!

If you are serious about your .Net coding then you shouldn't miss out on this very special user group.

It's informative, good fun, wacky, not London-centric ... it keeps you ahead of the curve.
