Q: Can you talk to someone in MS do some productivity improvements in unmanaged world (C++)? I now that .net is red-hot - but a lot of developers still have to use C++, and working with C# and watching it evolve makes C++ world look very gray with it's horrible sound-to-noise ratio. Even pre-compiler form MS-specific-C++ to standard C++ would be nice.

We're looking at doing this exact thing. In addition to regular C9 style interviews, Rory most likely will do a weekly show too. Not sure if that will be Audio/Video or both.

Very exciting times ahead for C9!

What is "the old google thing" ?

I want Rory to first:

Do more .NET Screencasts
Build a c9 chatroom for the niners
Do a weekly program on general development material

Maybe 1 and 3 can be merged...And once he's finished with all that, then he can get to whatever else you other niners want him to do...be generous with the Rory, puff puff pass..don't hog'em.
