As you are aware, Windows, like all Microsoft products, are used by people all over the world. This requires that Windows et al provide user interfaces that are both localized for language and globalized for culture. What's the difference between localization and globalization? The interview touches on both the technical and business perspective of releasing an international version of Windows, and Windows Vista is certainly a challenge with the amount of languages being released for this version.

Although, if truly "globalized", we should also have written
/globalisation to cover British writing Smiley
