Project Sunburst is the latest Crackdown title and brilliantly uses real-time backdrops from Bing Maps, based on your location, to provide an endless array of gameplay environments.
The game uses the Windpws Phone 7 geo-tagging functionality to pin-point where you are, and you can build bases to defend against the “freaks” in real locations. I sat down with Justin Robey and John Noonan to talk about the new Windows Phone 7 and Xbox LIVE integration- good stuff!

Honestly I think it is better to sold without mentioning Crackdown at all. I mean, most people will just get angry at this extra intergration feature. Because they feel like they should buy Crackdown as well, but, they will totally don't want to because they have feeling of being forced to do it..
Looks incredibly cool...and I'm not a gamer. Good piece, but when's it coming out?
I'm looking forwards to this, but (as above) the most important piece of info is missing: when is it released?
They said it would be "this month" in November, but it's Decemeber now and the new DLC for Crackdown 2 is out (and is good) but no phone game yet
The real question is GIMME. Been waiting for Project Sunburst since I picked up my WP7 in October.
The game will be out on the phone 12/15- the launch date slipped a little.

Aww, a little, that is quite a lot.
What happened fo Ping! and Hot Apps this week? I miss my fix.
Yeah well...it snowed and nobody could come to work so I couldn't shoot
there will be new episodes of both next week though!
AWESOME! Didn't know about this, just got it on my phone.
This game just does not work. Never connects. Paid for it and am so annoyed. Never again monkeys!
Ever since I got this game, my wife's playing it on my phone defending her base.
Want my phone back! Or... hmm she can get her own WP7.
