In this two-part interview, Scott Guthrie gives a preview of the technology that will be discussed at Mix (www.visitmix.com). In Part 1, Scott talks about IIS 7.0 for developers, how they've improved hosting scalability, improvements to configuration management and deployment with the recent release of Web Deployment project tools, and the improvements to production debugging and instrumentation.

Good to have this broken down into digestible 15 minute chunks. (Looking forward to part 2).

Thanks for listening on the "videos need to be shorter" front Smiley
Scott loves to talk about IIS7, nice first video Dan.  Can't wait for part two...

Insert opposing High bandwidth position here.

We would like:
-Full Video
-Video in parts

AT THE SAME TIME Wink Seriously.

-or-

A streaming solution that has chapters inserts. Where you can skip ahead by chapter for both crowds.

Welcome Change

Right on, Dan! So nice to have you here:)

Keep on posting,

I agree.  Killing the video in the middle of a sentence is NG.  Also if you are going to break up a video all parts should be posted at the same time.  How am I going to sleep now without knowing how this video ends??? Wink  Seriously though, the videos should still be made available in full.  I used to hate the short videos from the early days of channel 9.  Each question was its own video.  The long videos need to stay.
Ahh, where is part 2, the juicy part? Smiley

If you stumbled and fell down, it doesn't mean yet, that you're going in the wrong direction.

What's a problem to download full video and watch it later by ZoomPlayer remembering last position?

Dear Channel 9 Crew, please don't forget us - the low-res version fanclub Smiley

The funny thing is that I'd expect Mix to be an event about upcoming things, not all about things which are released pretty soon....
