Serguei Martchenko, Senior Software Development Engineer, explains the Core Notifications protocol, as specified in MS-OXCNOTIF. This talk includes information about relevant RPC and ROP dependencies, registering for and receiving notifications, table notifications, the RopNotify procedure, pending notifications, notification polling, push notifications, asynchronous RPC notifications, and error handling. This talk was part of the 2010 Exchange Server Protocol Documents Overview Event. and is related to the Exchange Server Open Specifications Program, which includes documents that are available on MSDN.
