In this first episode of Hands-on Windows Azure Webinar, we talk about cloud computing and how it can address capacity and scale on-demand.
In this 3-part webinar series, we'll explore how to build solutions for the Cloud. You'll see how developing and deploying applications to Windows Azure is fast and easy, leveraging the skills you already have (.NET, Java, PHP, or Ruby) and the tools you already know (Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.) – all in the comfort of your own chair, at the office, or at home.
The webinar will focus on .NET and Visual Studio 2010, but the concepts are the same regardless of the language and tools.
We'll go through an overview of Windows Azure, making sure that you learn everything you need to know to get up and running with Windows Azure. We'll cover the Windows Azure platform itself, the Windows Azure SDK tools, and
the Windows Azure Tools for Visual Studio 2010. We'll then apply the concepts as we migrate a traditional on-premise ASP.NET MVC application to Windows and SQL Azure

Nice explanation of cloud computing advantages compared with traditional regarding IT capacity demand and supply.
Up to min 3:00: How traditional IT addresses the increased capacity demand.
From min 3:00: How cloud computing supply on demand smoothens the IT capacity demand & supply equation.
PLEASE do not title things "Hands On" then they are just a slide deck!
