This is the second in a series on the Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V Extensible Switch. These are for architects, software engineers and developers who are designing and building extensions to the Hyper-V Extensible Switch. In this video, Microsoft software design engineer Claire Mitchell describes the control path of the extensible switch, which all extension developers need to understand for extension setup, port and NIC configuration, and operations. The viewer will learn how to properly track and use switch, port and NIC states within their extension, along with the basic control flow of the extensible switch.
