IM an Expert is a publicly available Lync instant messaging question-and-answer service that enables users to find answers to questions by asking other users. Users can opt-in, and then the service harnesses the database of experts to connect people together via IM.
In Part 2 of this series, Matthew Richardson, researcher at Microsoft, describes the technical details of IM an Expert, as well as the experiences that he and fellow researcher, Ryen White, had while developing a bot using the Unified Communications Managed API (UCMA) 3.0 for Lync.

Awesome work. How incredibly useful. Tell the camera guy to turn off auto exposure, innovation this good deserves higher production quality...keep up the great work though!!
