Joe Video Blog 001: A month out

The “Olympics” of software for students is about a month away.  That’s right, the finals of the Imagine Cup 2009 starts July 3rd in Cairo, Egypt.  This is a quick lowdown from the Director of Education here at Microsoft. 

Expect more of these quick-bits as we get closer to and even during the competition!

unfortunatly i missed it though it will be here in cairo(i am from cairo) because i just hear abt the competition and it was too late for me to subsribe

anyway that ceramony are the guest allow to be in there or just those students and if so when exatly it will be so at least i can see it

I love seeing stories like this this! More students need to be encouraged to earn a degree online and to purse the sciences in particular.  And it doesn't matter what their personal philosophies are around beliefs either (because if you are a working class student  or whatever you can earn a college degree online you can work to support your education). Thanks for putting such good stuff on the internet.
