Joe Video Blog 001: A month out

The “Olympics” of software for students is about a month away.  That’s right, the finals of the Imagine Cup 2009 starts July 3rd in Cairo, Egypt.  This is a quick lowdown from the Director of Education here at Microsoft. 

Expect more of these quick-bits as we get closer to and even during the competition!

300 thousand students competed for the Imagine Cup. Wow, that is really huge amount of competition!!

Yes I am curious to know the results and what the challenge was, as my son could soon compete in such olympics of software. His pokerstars bonus code led him to save a litlle money, but is there a reward for such competition? I guess yes. Anyway, I am fraid he will not compete in the real Olympics though, he is not fit at all.
