How do I download the videos?
- To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”
Why should I download videos from Channel9?
- It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
- You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
- If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!
Which version should I choose?
- If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
- If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
- If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
- If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.
Right click “Save as…”
- High Quality WMV (PC, Xbox, MCE)
- MP3 (Audio only)
- Mid Quality WMV (Lo-band, Mobile)
- High Quality MP4 (iPad, PC)
- MP4 (iPod, Zune HD)
- Mid Quality MP4 (WP7, HTML5)
Mike Downey of the Media Platform Evangelism Team talks about the release of the HTML5 Player Framework version 1.0. This new open source video player encompasses HTML5, Silverlight, Windows Phone and other application platforms. Downey also talks about the framework's adaptability for different protocols, additional plug-in features and how this new version will be interegrated in the future. hey,
do you guys support frame accurate video with this player? if I write this:
Math.round(vid.currentTime * fps);
all the browsers will return +1 or -1 accurate frame, but not the actual frame:(. BBC push this video frame accurate really hard for timecodes in html5.
Can you guys tell me what's the state of this thing? there is any way to get the frame accurate in IE9 ?

Support for pixel manipulation on windows phone? For e.g. IOS your not allow to draw video on a canvas and then play with the pixels.

I like the new look of the <a href="http://html5socket.com/">html5 player</a>. is faster is better and my slow computer with crappy video card will not got slow anymore, nice job you guys!
